Insight on the Book of Daniel
New Year Message From the Chief Servant & Archbishop of Zion Ministries

In The Book of Daniel, we discovered a nobleman or prince of Judah (named Daniel) who was deported to Babylon in 605B.C. during Nebuchadnezzar’s invasion. As stated in my last message, Nebuchadnezzar did not deport weaklings from Judah to serve in his kingdom. He deported “Children in whom was no blemish, but well favored, and skillful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the learning of the tongue of the Chaldeans” (Daniel 1:4). Nebuchadnezzar wanted the best to be closest to him when he ruled and reigned!

The narrative in the second chapter of Daniel is most relevant to my message today as we find Nebuchadnezzar had a dream he could not remember. How many times have we had dreams that we couldn’t remember? Or, how many times have you seen something so great during your sleep but forgot what it was before you could stretch or rise out of the bed? Nebuchadnezzar saw something so great in his dream, but failed to realize the dream after arising from his bed. This troubled him in the mind! So much so, he placed a demand on the “wise men” in Babylon. He charged them to: 1) tell him what he dreamed and 2) provide the interpretation!

The narrative in Daniel 2 explains that these most “wise men,” who were astrologers, magicians and soothsayers, explained no man had ever been required to respond to such a demand. You know the rest of the story or The Word of God! What no man can do, God can!

Daniel was not considered an astrologer, magician or soothsayer; he was considered a wise man. When Daniel heard the news of his execution, along with the other wise people of Nebuchadnezzar’s court, he:

1. requested time to hear God and to respond to Nebuchadnezzar’s demand,

2. surrounded himself with like-minded believers so they could join together in corporate prayer,

3. waited on God to reveal His hand and His plan for Nebuchadnezzar and his kingdom,

4. positioned himself to say what he would see when God unfolded the vision in his dream, and

5. had it in his heart to give God all the glory for all he would do to reveal and impart!

As God and people around us have placed demand on our lives…

As the vehicles that delivered us where we are have stopped and can’t carry us any further…

As we are being stretched to hear God and see visions that may spare the lives of many around us…

As people are seeking us out, not to take our lives, but for to get their lives back as unimaginable demands are placed on them…

Get ready for a year of unprecedented revelation and impartation!

Revelation involves an unveiling as impartation involves “transpositioning” or the exchange of one thing for another.

Borrowing from The Apostle Paul in Romans 1:11, “For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established…”

Until we meet face-to-face, may God reveal unimaginable things to you through dreams and vision that give to God the glory!

Until we meet face-to-face, may God take away those things that brought you shame and frustration in 2011—exchanging them for greater gifts that will result in him receiving all the glory for being a “deliverer and a rescuer who worketh signs and wonders in heaven and earth” (Daniel 6:27).

As you walk in your divine purpose for 2012 and experience divine revelation and impartation from God, may He, as The Lord of Kings:

1. Make you great

2. Give you great gifts

3. Make you rulers and chiefs of governors over all the wise men of your region (see Daniel 2:48)

In Jesus’ Mighty name I decree these things!

AMEN. AMEN. AMEN.
